The Cast
Juliet
This is Caroline’s fourth season with Inebriated Shakespeare and she is thrilled to be back doing her two favorite things: Shakespeare and drinking. Past roles include Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Horatio in Hamlet, and Lucentio in Taming of the Shrew. When she’s not making a fool of herself, she enjoys sewing, painting, and collecting tiny hands. She always commits to the bit, and the drunker you get her, the more insane the bit becomes.
Romeo
Candace-Omnira is a multi-hyphenated creative and community activist. The last nine years in Nashville have been spent developing her craft as a performer, director and Associate Executive Producer for SistaStyle Productions. Most of her work is centered around the black experience and using art reflecting the world to itself. Her love for Shakespeare was sparked in her AP English 4 class when she was introduced to his sonnets and is having a blast being a part of this cast.
Tybalt/Nurse
Zach is happy to be returning to Inebriated Shakespeare for a fourth year. He is originally from Myrtle Beach, SC and was most recently seen on stage in Lakewood Theater’s Dead Man’s Cell Phone. Hopefully, he’ll have you in stitches by the end of Scene 2! Bring on the drinks!
Capulet
Malinda Morgan is thrilled to be a part of Inebriated Shakespeare. Typically she is backstage or solving murders. She is an avid playwright. Her first play Soon, My Love debuted in 2022. She couldn’t do any of it without her dog, Anita. She hopes you hate Capulet just as much as Anita does. These are the words of wisdom she lives by: get it right get it right. Lastly, she can be seen keeping it 100 with her cash-money fam all while trying to maintain a sus free lifestyle.
Montague/Paris/Apothecary
This is Cameron’s first season with Inebriated Shakespeare. Previously, she’s worked with The Kennedy Center, The Women’s Theatre Alliance of Chicago, Underscore Theater Chicago, The Raven, The Goodman Theater and Second City. Her play ‘Mary Doesn’t Wear Red Lipstick’ was included in Future Publishing House’s anthology of 21st Century American Theatre. She is thrilled to join the cast, get drunk and forget her lines.
Benvolio/Prince/Messenger
Shannon Hayes is in her first year with Inebriated Shakespeare and is totally stoked to drunkenly besmirch the work of the Bard in Romeo and Juliet. She is a Middle Tennessee native who is active in Murfreesboro community theater, primarily with Murfreesboro Little Theatre. When not performing, she tries her best at parenting, teaching barbell classes, and bartending. Follow her on Insta @shanninhaze to see semi-infrequent life updates, occasionally related to theater.
The premise is simple: The actors begin the show sober and, with help from YOU the audience, they become drunk as the show progresses.
