Kimberly Groom

Kimberly is excited to be joining Inebriated Shakespeare for a third season! Her previous roles include Capulet in Inebriated Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet (complete with fake beard) and Horatio in Inebriated Shakespeare’s Hamlet (sans beard). An ardent literary nerd, she is currently completing a degree in Library Science. Feel free to ask her for book recommendations (seriously). She is thrilled and grateful to be performing with such a talented troupe.

In 2019, Alyssa was seen in Mr. Burns a post electric play (Barbershop Theater), Initiative (Nashville Scene’s Best Small Stage Play 2019, Barbershop Theater), and The Nightmarium Incident (Act 1). When not drunkenly performing Shakespeare, Alyssa is an executive assistant, the managing editor and lead writer for Southern Travel + Lifestyles magazine, and a community-based yoga teacher with Small World Yoga.

Some of his favorite credits include Peter and the Starcatcher (Peter) with Circle Players, Young Frankenstein (Ensemble) with Circle Players, and Ten Year (Young Sam) at the Darkhorse Theatre. Ezra would like to thank his boyfriend, Ross, and their three cats for being the most supportive family anyone could ask for. Enjoy the show!

KR Knowles
J.R. Knowles

J.R. Knowles just wants to dance! You might have seen J.R. as Gregg in White Elephant, Rosenstern/Guildencrantz in last year’s Hamlet, or onstage with Watershed Public Theatre. He tries so hard to remember to post about his projects @jr_knowles. Many thanks to the whole team at IS, his friends and fam, and you! Thank you for supporting your local arts. Let’s drink!
